A new chapter for Ben Ma Studio

Ben Ma working on a laptop beside a bookshelf.

I’m updating my first studio website—a new home for my projects, drawings, photography, and ideas. I’m excited to share the work and open the door to new design partnerships.

Through Ben Ma Studio, I offer concept design, brand development, and spatial experiences for fashion, music, and entertainment. I’m looking to become an embedded design partner to established and emerging brands: working closely with their teams, understanding their ambitions, and helping carry ideas from the first sketch into the real world.

My foundation is in transportation design at ArtCenter College of Design. Since then, my experience has spanned vehicle design at Aptera Motors, industrial design at YEEZY, branding and 3D design at Nippon Design Center, and brand and spatial design for Vivet.

Highlights include storyboarding the full 75-minute Missy Elliott Out of This World show, with digital renders developed into animated tour visuals; contributing to the design for Vivet’s New York show stage and ComplexCon booth.

This site will continue to grow with new projects and notes from the studio. If you’re building a brand, planning a space, or shaping a live experience, I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
